On what criteria am I supposed to base my vote?
Vote for the picture you think is more attractive, sexier, hotter, and/or causes more drooling.

Try to avoid viewing a user's other photos and then voting on overall attraction.  Base your vote on the two photos in front of you.
What's the difference between "user" votes and "public" votes?
User votes are made by users with site accounts and do count towards selecting match winners.  "Public" votes are counted, but do not affect the outcome of matches in any way.

Users on the Web can be tracked in various ways, but the only way to reliably do so is with accounts.  Therefore, in order to keep matches as fair as possible, only users with accounts help choose winners.
Why does the site say I've voted in a match when I haven't?
If you have an account, be sure you are logged into it.  If you are logged in (i.e. your handle is displayed in the top-right corner), then someone has already voted using your account.  If you're sure you haven't voted, please change your password and then contact us immediately.

If you do not have an account, please note that it isn't possible to track users with perfect accuracy unless they are logged in.  So, most likely, someone else with overlapping data has already voted and you're seeing his/her selection.  If you'd like to vote and would like your vote to count, all you have to do is create an account.
How long does a match last?
A match will continue until one of two conditions are met: (a) it has been active for a minimum period of time and it has received a minimum number of user votes, or (b) it has reached a maximum period of time.

Because the site is still new, matches may continue longer to allow more people to discover the site and vote for the initial matches.  As the site's popularity grows, matches can be expected to end much more quickly.
